Spill Kits

A spill kit packs absorbents, PPE and disposal bags into one container you can grab in an emergency. WellKept Supply carries SpillTech kits in three color-coded classes: universal (gray) for oils, coolants, solvents and water; oil-only (white) for oils while repelling water; and hazmat (yellow) for aggressive chemicals. Kits range from a 5-gallon pail that absorbs up to 4.6 gallons to a 95-gallon OverPack that absorbs up to 79.7 gallons.

SpillTech lists its spill kits as helping facilities comply with 29 CFR 1910.120(j)(1), 29 CFR 1910.1450(e), 40 CFR 263.30(a), 40 CFR 263.31 and 49 CFR 173.3(c); its oil-only kits also list 33 CFR 154.1047(c)(2).
